We are all honored to partner together, creating proJect 8 in the honor and memory of Jarrett Allen. The Lord has been molding our hearts and has pulled us together to make an impact on our community. We pray we can touch the lives of those in need as well as encourage others to serve and find a way to make an impact in their community.

About Emily

Emily Allen, 35, is originally from Monroe, LA, but has resided in North Little Rock, AR for the past 13 years. She attended ASU-Jonesboro where she received her bachelor’s degree in Nursing. She practiced as an RN for 9 years. In 2017, she graduated from UAMS with her Masters in Science of Nursing and has been practicing as a nurse practitioner for 4 years.

Emily has been happily married for 11 years to her wonderful husband, Russ Allen. Russ and Emily gave birth to 2 beautiful, healthy children; Jarrett and Gemma Allen. In June 2021, Jarrett passed away at the age of 7 years old. Gemma who is 3 years old loves and misses her “bubba” but he continues to live in our hearts and his spirit shines through her. Emily loves being outdoors, listening to live music exercising, and spending time with family and friends.

Emily’s desire has always been to love, nurture and serve others. She has been able to fulfill that desire as a wife, mother, and nurse. She has compassion for those in need and believes that through proJect8 her desires can live on within her community and the legacy of her son can live on as well. Most importantly, Emily is a believer in Jesus Christ and without a doubt knows that she wants to be the hands of feet of Jesus on this side of heaven and have a servant’s heart.
